Vintage design book of Japanese genji-ko incense game (Dealer: titcoRet) – Relating with Japanese incense ceremony (‘kodo’), ‘Genji-ko’ as a type of incense-comparing game called ‘kumi-ko’ originated from Heian period (794-1185). Including the 52 patterns of graphical ‘Genji-mon’ (Genji crests) assigned to the chapters of “The Tale of Genji” for each. Showa period, Pre-1960. Aged deterioration and wormholes as seen.
