Hagi tea bowl by Saka Koraizaemon IV (Dealer: Sezuan antiques & art) – Japanese Hagi ware tea bowl made by Saka Shinbei as the 4 the generation of Saka Koraizaemon (1683-1748), attached with a certificated wood box by Saka Koraizaemon XI (1912-1981). Dynamic form with free glaze dripping, with triangular scraping as the sign of Saka family, and rough and free intentional finishing for formed mouth-edge (called ‘bebera’) as the other scenic highlights. Also, aesthetic enough with slight greenish glaze well-matching for the deep gree of tea. Some kintsugi gold restorations. approx. D 12.5cm (4.92in), H 6.2-6.9cm (2.44-2.71in)
