Aizu-lacquerer’s tool box 1904 (Dealer: Sezuan antiques & art) – Wooden box as a Japanese lacquer worker’s tool, with the seal marks written in Indian ink as “Meiji 37” (1904), “Fukushima prefecture”, and “Aizu-Wakamatsu city”. Also, with slight eggshell-work on the top surface as uniquely. Once used like a palette for testing as seen. In fine used condition as is, with the original pulls, and drawers in smoothly working condition.
