Japanese Seto ash-glazed flask Mid-Edo period (Dealer: minakata antiques) – Refined landscape with impressive dripping of natural glaze mixed with glassy blue and white. Fine lovely size as well. Laudable old Japanese pottery piece in aesthetic balance of such glazing and the form itself given quality gold restoration (‘kin-naoshi’). In fine antique condition as an excavation, with expected chips at the bottom, but no leak. Please enjoy it as a sake flask (tokkuri) originally or arrange it to use as a flower vase. Attached with a new custom-made wooden box for this piece. approx. D 7.9cm (3.11in), H 11cm (4.33in)
