WRAPPING PAPERS OF PAWNSHOP (Dealer: hotoke) – Aggregation of recycled washi papers stored to apply to wrapping papers at a certain old Japanese pawnshop. Total 25 pieces (including one blank paper) originally dated back to Edo-Meiji period, 19th century. 2 largest pieces: 46 x 32cm (18.11 x 12.59in), 21 pieces: 40 x 30cm (15.74 x 11.81in), and 2 smaller pieces. Aesthetically aged deterioration as is.
