HAJIKI JAR (Dealer: hotoke) – “Haji pottery (Hajiki) is a type of plain, unglazed, reddish-brown Japanese pottery or earthenware that was produced during the Kofun (250-538), Nara (710-794), and Heian periods (794-1185) of Japanese history. Such a refined Hajiki piece with the descended style (calmness) of Yayoi pottery (300BC – AD300), excavated from Northern Kanto region (Gunma prefecture), Japan. In very fine condition as is, with a few expected damage. approx. 12.5 x 12.5cm (4.92 x 4.92in)
