SHOJO (Dealer: hotoke) – Unique and lovely vintage Japanese paper-mache mask of ‘Shojo’ (Chinese imaginary red-faced animal who love drinking) from a leading folk toy shop in Tottori prefecture called Yanagi-ya, used often for the local festival as the mask of usher of ‘shishimai’ lion dance. (but this mask seems to be in nearly unused condition, attached with fishing gut probably for its display)
