JAMES DEAN BATTLEDORE (Dealer: hotoke) – Unique vintage Japanese ‘hagoita’ (wooden racket for playing ‘hanetsuki’ (traditional Japanese battledore and shuttlecock used to play during the New Year)) with hand-painted portrait of James Dean on synthetic fiber, on the other hand, idyllic and rustic landscape painting on the backside, 1950-60s, approx. 49 x 17.5 x 1.5cm (19.29 x 6.88 x 0.59in). Some expected stains and discoloration due to aging as is.
