GOD OF HAPPINESS (Dealer: titcoRet) – Wood. Edo period (1603-1868), Japan. H 11.9 x W 7 x D 5.5 cm (4.68 x 2.75 x 2.16in). Seems to be Ebisu god because of the fish holding in arm, but uniquely much more like rustic and primitive than typical type. Some worm-eaten marks due to aging as is and its wooden dust comes out when shake.
