SIX JIZO (Dealer: Pottari) – Set of six hand-carved wooden Jizō (Roku-Jizō) statues, each with a distinct facial expression. In Buddhist tradition they represent the guardians of the six realms of existence, offering guidance and salvation to all beings. Shōwa period, Japan, 20th century. Each approx. H 16 × W 4 × D 2 cm (6.3 × 1.6 × 0.8 in). The delicate wire halos behind their heads and the finely crafted metal staffs add a subtle elegance. No chips or losses; overall in clean, well-preserved condition.
