INSCRIBED SUTRA STONES (Dealer: titcoRet) – Set of inscribed river stones known as Taji Issekikyō, created for memorial rites and prayers for the living. Each stone bears hand-written Buddhist sutra text—here, passages from the Lotus Sutra—originally written in ink and buried in the ground as an act of devotion. Japan, Edo period (17th–19th century). Largest stone approx. 5 × 3.5 × 3 cm (2 × 1.4 × 1.2 in). Some abrasion, fading, and partial loss of inscription, with traces of soil remaining due to burial and later excavation.
