CRANE (Dealer: hotoke) – Carved from a naturally formed burl of wood, making use of its organic shape. Originally displayed in a tokonoma alcove as an okimono (decorative object). 20th century. Approx. 44.5 cm (17.5 in) in length. Stand is removable. Age-related wear consistent with time.
