TRACE OF DEVOTION (Dealer: titcoRet) – A weathered wooden devotional figure, possibly representing a Shinto goddess or a Buddhist Kannon. Japan, Muromachi or Edo period. Approx. 10 × 10 × 29 cm (3.9 × 3.9 × 11.4 in). Worn, eroded, and gradually decaying through time; faint traces suggest a once-clasped, prayerful pose, perhaps with robe-like drapery. Insect activity has ceased, though slight powder may fall when handled or moved. Condition as shown.
