PAIR OF NISHIKIGOI (Dealer: kikue) – A pair of wooden nishikigoi (ornamental carp) found in Korea. Possibly Japanese in origin, or an anonymous Korean-made mingei object influenced by Japanese taste and trends during the mid-late 20th century. Approx. 29.5 × 7.6 × 7.8 cm (11.6 × 3 × 3.1 in) and 28.5 × 7.5 × 7.8 cm (11.2 × 3 × 3.1 in). Some scratches, stains, and cracks, but solidly made. Condition as shown.
