BUUYARE (Dealer: titcoRet) – An old Japanese toy made of paper and bamboo depicting the ushioni, a mythical ox-like monster featured in traditional festivals in Uwajima, Ehime Prefecture. Known for driving away evil spirits and misfortune, it has long been part of local ritual traditions. Shōwa period (1926–1989). Approx. 21 × 10 × 11.8 cm (8.3 × 3.9 × 4.6 in). Although ushioni toys are still made today as souvenirs, this is a scarce older example, preserved in good condition for its age. Moving the bamboo rod underneath allows the head to turn freely.
