AKABEKO MOLDS (Dealer: Jinta) – Wooden molds for making paper-mache ‘Akabeko’ (lit. ‘Red cow’) as popular traditional folk toy from Aizu region. Showa period, Pre-1950s, Japan. Beautiful texture as well and such lovely forms. (* More matured as well used and a little smaller than the last one I listed)

Head: approx. L 17cm (6.69in), Body: approx. H 7cm (2.75in), 5 x 8cm (1.96 x 3.14in)
