AKABEKO MOLDS (Dealer: Jinta) – Wooden molds for making paper-mache ‘Akabeko’ (lit. ‘Red cow’) as popular traditional folk toy from Aizu region. Showa period, Pre-1950s, Japan. Beautiful texture as well and such lovely forms.

Head: approx. L 22cm (8.66in), Body: approx. L 10cm (3.93in), 7 x 8cm (2.75 x 3.14in)
