Excavated antique Japanese green Karatsu tea bowl  (Dealer: misakadou) – Blue/Green Karatsu tea bowl called Aogaratsu chawan as an excavation from old kiln-site, which was thrown away by its potter at the time as it’s a failure with pottery fragments stuck on in firing. Early Edo period. But, actually valued its “unique aesthetic” from such failures by the Japanese intellects and connoisseurs from old days, then revalued such excavation as “unintentional beauty” today. approx.
