OMIKUJI (Dealer: Pottari) – Japanese wooden “Omikuji” box once used for fortune-telling at Shinto shrines or Buddhist temples, containing numbered sticks with written oracles and is shaken and flipped upside down to dispense a fortune stick. Shōwa period, 20th century. Approx. 21.5 × 9 × 8 cm (8.5 × 3.5 × 3.1 in). No chips or losses; condition as shown.
