Old Japanese Kagura Beshimi mask (Dealer: Sezuan antiques & art) – Quite aged and dignified wood carving mask of ‘Beshimi’ (representing ‘Tengu’ (Long‐nosed goblin) or ‘Kijin’ (Fierce god)) used for Kagura dance in Shinto shrine. At least Edo period for sure, and could be earlier than 16th century as I see it. approx. L 20cm (7.87in)
