BIG BEKO (Dealer: titcoRet) – Unfinished paper-mache ‘Aka-beko’ (lit. ‘Red cow’ as popular traditional Japanese folk toy) in the process of production before painted in red. Unusually powerful and much bigger size than the standard. Showa period, early 20th century. approx. 42 x 17 x H 19.5cm (16.53 x 6.69 x 7.67in). Some discoloration and rips due to aging as is.
