CLAY INARI FOX AND VOTIVE STONE (Dealer: titcoRet) – Quite an unusual type of Inari guardian fox (for the god of harvests) made of unfired clay mixed with straw, and a votive stone attached with it as originally, found from an old shrine in Shizuoka prefecture, Japan. Edo period, 19th century. Some remains of original paint. Very fragile condition because of its make, so that please understand some possibility of its clay-exfoliation when receiving it via international shipping in advance.

Fox: approx. 13 x 8 x 6cm (5.11 x 3.14 x 2.36in)
