EBOSHI (Dealer: titcoRet) – Traditional Japanese men’s Shinto cap (since Heian period (794-1185) to today) called eboshi, specifically for the use of governmental official for Imperial household or performers of gagaku (Japanese court music). Taisho period (1912–26). Its blue string was attached in the later years. Some damage as is due to use and age as seen. approx. H 15.5cm (6.10in), 18.5 x 13.5cm (7.28 x 5.31in)
