EEL CATCHER (Dealer: Sezuan antiques & art) – Japanese mingei folk tool of iron eel catcher with beautiful curve line which was made to re-beat a sword. Meiji period (1868-1912). Quite like “They shall beat their swords into plowshares.”… approx. L 47.5cm (18.70in)
