FISHERMAN OF HIRADO (Dealer: misakadou) – Hirado porcelain ware fisherman (or boatman) figurine, Late Edo period, 19th century, Japan.
Chip at the left toe and lack of his belongings (such as a pipe supposed to be held in mouth and something supposed to be in the right hand), but still attractive enough with such quality and well-detailed expression.

Fisherman: approx. H 12.5cm (4.92in), W 9.5cm (3.74in), D 6.5cm (2.55in) / Container (Creel): H 4.5cm (1.77in), D 4.5cm (1.77in)
