KAMIDANA (Dealer: hotoke antiques) – Quite a “raw” but refined ‘kamidana’ (‘zushi’) Japanese folk wooden shrine altar as the place of ‘kami’ (god) for the belief and for the everyday relief. Early 20th century.
Just coming from a rural warehouse in Iwate prefecture in Tohoku region as its provenance and never been dealt in the market ever. Some stains and aged deterioration as is. (and some nails are coming out, so that please be careful for use)
