GOLDEN SWEET (Dealer: hotoke) – Single Chinese character of ‘Ama (i)’ (or ‘Kan’) which means “sweet”, as a fragment of old gold-painted wooden signboard of Japanese sweets shop. Showa period, 20th century. In fine used condition as is, though actually hanged on the wall. approx. H 40cm (15.74in), W 36cm (14.17in), T 2cm (0.78in)
