GORYEO CELADON FLASK (Dealer: minakata antiques) – Goryeo Dynasty, 11th century, Korea.

This celadon glaze created such aesthetically mysterious contrast by the kiln-firing. Besides, such refined square-shouldered form as its highlight. Originally an excavation broken in half repaired with silver-repair (gintsugi). Inborn slight chips at foot and some glaze-peelings at whole body. Not recommended for the use of sake flask for its earthy smell, but highly recommended for the use of vase. No leak.

approx. D 10cm (3.93in), H 17.1cm (6.73in)
