HYAKUMANBEN-NENJU (Dealer: hotoke) – Well-used enormous ‘Juzu’ Buddhist rosary composed of thousands of wooden beads called ‘Hyakumanben-nenju’ (lit. ‘One million times rosary’) which was used for reciting “Namu Amida Butsu” hundreds of thousands times by multiple (more than ten) Buddhist prayers together at the same time for the same purpose in the ritual of the Pure Land.
