ICHIJI ISSEKI KYO (Dealer: Jinta) – Japanese multiple stones with one letter from the Buddhist scriptures transcribed on them called ‘Ichiji isseki kyo’ (lit. “One-letter stone scriptures”), which had been once popular in the Edo period (1603-1868) as part of ascetic practices and buried with pray for the repose of ancestor’s soul at last. Some stones with loss of letter due to age and condition.
