OCHOPOSAN (Dealer: Jinta) – An old Japanese omamori (protective amulet) from Chiyoho Inari Shrine in Gifu Prefecture. Affectionately known by local people as “Ochopo-san,” the shrine is traditionally associated with blessings for prosperous business and household safety. Circa 1960s–70s. Made of wood, metal, and glass. Approx. 12 cm (4.7 in) in height × 9 × 7 cm (3.5 × 2.8 in), including the box. Condition as shown.
