Unusual antique Japanese Inuyama tea bowl 19c  (Dealer: hotoke antiques) – Coated with Shino’s or Hagi’s like thick white slip in aesthetically well-used condition for tea, without enamel painting, as extremely rare simple type with grayish semicircular glazing in comparison with typical Inuyama ware. Edo period. Fine shape and size with comfortable distortion for eyes and for hand. This chawan itself with its landscape in such presence named ‘Han-getsu’ (Half moon or Inverse moon) by me myself as naturally. With carved seal of ‘Inuyama’ at bottom. Crack at edge and chip at foot, but without deteriorating its appearance and its practical use. approx. D 12.5-11.0 cm (4.92-4.33in), H 7.3 cm (2.87in)
