JOSEON DYNASTY HAKEME BOWL (Dealer: misakadou) – Korean folk pottery bowl with wild ‘hakeme’ brush marks. Early Joseon dynasty, late 16th century or earlier, treasured, used, handed down through the generations among predecessors (connoisseurs) in Japan as ‘denseihin’, and repaired with such scenic ‘kintsugi’ (gold restoration). Larger size for use of chawan though. Attached with paulownia box.
