BLACK SUISEKI, KAMUY-KOTAN STONE (Dealer: hotoke) – Spontaneous Kannon (Guanyin)-shaped stone called ‘Sugata-ishi’ of sacred black stone as a type of art of Japanese ‘Suiseki’ of ‘Kamuy kotan seki’ from the canyon called ‘Kamuy-kotan’ (‘Whereabouts of God’ in the Ainu language) in the western part of Asahikawa city in Hokkaido, Japan. Abstract figure of the god (‘Kamuy’=’Kami’) with no processing by human hands. Attached with a wooden (resin?) stand carved for such natural form of the bottom for its stability. Total: approx.
