KAWARA-ZUSHI b (Dealer: Jinta) – Unique type of local ‘zushi’ (small shrine) made of roof tile only seen around Sanin-Shikoku region, Showa period, early-mid 20th century, Japan, approx. H 23 x 18 x 18cm (9.05 x 7.08 x 7.08in). Traditionally placed on house-yard and make inside empty to let the guardian god of its house dwells into. Rare square entrance, since usually round type.
