TIGER (Dealer: yamanome) – ‘Keue-ningyo’ (lit.’Furry doll’) as scarce high‐class realistic animal doll of traditional Kyoto handicraft pasting the bundles of untwisted silk string on the paper-mache body to describe the lie of animal’s hair made during End of Edo to Meiji period, late 19th – early 20th century, Japan, approx. 15 x 5 x H 14cm (5.90 x 1.96 x 5.51in). Glass eyes. Some expected damage due to aging as is as seen. One leg is unstable.
