KIHARA CHAWAN (Dealer: misakadou) – Excavated pottery tea bowl from Kihara kiln in Kyushu region, Japan, with such dynamic brushing pattern as quite a healthy mingei taste. Mid-Edo period, 18th century.
In fine excavated condition for this type of ware, with repaired big lines of inborn kiln-cracks at inner bottom, some hairline cracks, and chips at foot as is.
