Kisshoten – Wood carving sri-mahadevi statue in zushi shrine (Dealer: misakadou) – Pre-1700 like Momoyama-Early Edo period at least, and could be earlier like Muromachi period (1333-1573). Elegant proportions and presence with medieval facial expression used quality fine-grained wood, in well-dried and very light weight condition caused by the long years. Probably a private use for worship in such actual used condition with considerable damages and smoke-stains as seen (also with marks of bond), and with the laudable remains of original parts without restoration in the later years as a rare aged piece for today. With zushi shrine box attached in the later years as the Edo period.
