Kurinuki-bon – Japanese mingei folk lacquered tray (Dealer: misakadou) – Folk lacquered-tray digging out a wooden board called ‘Kurinuki-bon’ for the usage of dining table used by the ordinary people, as it’s an opposite style of Japanese lacquer ware like high-priced makie. Edo-Meiji period, 19th century. Some cracks (for knot) but not in exfoliated condition. approx. H 9cm (3.54in), D 31.5-32.5cm (12.40-12.79in)
