DECORATION – Kyoto machiya architectural iron bar (Dealer: Sezuan antiques & art) – Decorative iron bar for hanging the seasonal lantern (at hook part) or lucky charm (at coil part) at ‘nokisaki’ (under the eaves) as a necessary stuff for the resident of ‘machiya’ (town houses) in Kyoto that highly value seasonal event in particular, which hardly seen today as it’s a rapidly disappearing architectural relic of Kyoto. L-shaped part is the joint.
