LACQUERER’S TOOL BOX WITH SPATULAS (Dealer: Sezuan antiques & art) – Wooden small drawer used as a Japanese lacquerer’s toolbox with iron metal fittings from the Edo period. Late Edo – Meiji period, 19th century.
Contained five pieces of thin spatulas. The condition is as seen, with some chips at the thick lacquer layer on the top surface.
