DAIKOKU AND EBISU (Dealer: hotoke) – Pair of Edo-period’s Japanese wood carving deities of Daikoku (God of Good harvest) and Ebisu (God of Good catch) that is the most auspicious pair worshiped as the Gods of Business success based on traditional folk belief, in such aesthetically well-sooted and blackened condition by enshrined in kitchen space for long years. Aged deterioration as is. Ebisu: approx. H 13.7cm (5.39in). Personally, I love this Daikoku’s roundish proportions of three-head tall.
