OBJECT OF MOLDS (Dealer: Jinta) – Combination of the parts (body and such big tail) of old wooden molds for making paper-mache tiger, Oku area in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, Showa period, early-mid 20th century. Body: approx. L 27 x 13 x 11cm (10.62 x 5.11 x 4.33in), Tail: approx. L 60cm (23.62in). Stands on its own in delicate balance as seen.
