OLD SETO KOGO IN HIGH RELIEF (Dealer: misakadou) – Old Seto pottery ware ‘kogo’ (incense container) imitated ‘tsuishu’ (red or black lacquerware with patterns carved in relief originated from ancient China). Edo period, 19th century, Japan. Potter’s sign of ‘Mizuno Kinkuro’, but unidentified information. In fine antique condition. Attached with a cedar box. (with deteriorated string) approx. H 5.5cm (2.16in), D 7.5cm (2.95in)
