PALINDROMIC WAKA POETRIES (Dealer: titcoRet) – Two pieces of unique and rare omnidirectional calligraphies of palindromic waka (traditional 31‐syllable Japanese tanka poetry) which are readable from longitudinal, lateral, and oblique directions. One is written as “Bunsei 10” (Edo period, 1827) and also written as that the same poem was storaged in hozo (treasure storehouse) of Ise Grand Shrine. Another one is from a little later years. Frame is not attached. Small: approx. 26.5 x 33.5cm (10.43 x 13.18in), Large: approx. 32.7 x 47cm (12.87 x 18.50in)
