TABI PAPER PATTERNS (Dealer: yamanome) – Such a lump of various ‘tabi’ (Japanese socks) patterns made of old waste paper once used by sericulture, Showa period, mid 20th century, Japan. Large: approx. 29 x 16cm (11.41 x 6.29in), Small: approx. 17.5 x 7.5cm (6.88 x 2.95in). Stained , worn, and crumpled as is due to aging.
