PILGRIMAGE STAMP BOOK (Dealer: Jinta) – Traditional Japanese pilgrimage stamp book used for recording Buddhist sutra dedications and offerings, known as Nokyocho. Taishō period (early 20th century). Approx. 25 × 17 cm (9.8 × 6.7 in), 35 pages. Such ledgers were kept by temples or donors to document the copying, recitation, or dedication of sutras, often as acts of devotion or merit-making. Age-related wear, stains, and handling marks consistent with use, as seen in the photos.
