SASHIDARU (Dealer: hotoke) – Lacquered rectangular wooden sake cask called ‘Sashidaru’ in such refinedly unique calm red, used for the outside occasions like cherry‐blossom viewing or so in the Edo period, 19th century, Japan. approx. 32 x 10.4 x H 28cm (12.59 x 4.09 x 11.02in). Actually not recommended to use of sake for its unhygienic condition today, but aesthetically applyable to a single-flower vase or an object as itself.
