CONCAVE TILE FROM RUINED TEMPLE (Dealer: titcoRet) – I got this piece from my fellow senior dealer I reaspect very much, and heard this ‘marugawara’ (semi-cylindrical shaped roof tile) was unearthed in the one of famouse ruins of ancient temples in present Ibaraki area in japan called ‘Niiharihaijiato’ and dated back to Nara period (710-794), but personally I’m really not sure about its description and authenticity as it’s out of my field, so… Well-suited and aesthetic with simple flower as often tea connoisseur tend to apply to flower tray.
