SANBO WITH DISTANT MOUNTAINS (Dealer: titcoRet) – Japanese ritual wooden stand with the drawing of mountains in very much Japanese style, called ‘Sanbo’ (also ‘Sampo’ / ref. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanbo) in unused condition, attached with the wooden box indicated with the sign of ‘Tempo 8’ (1838), 27 x 24 x H 11.4cm (10.62 x 9.44 x 4.48in). A part of the box is roughly repaired and its lid is slightly unstable.
